Long-lasting Comfort and Usage

When we first saw the Beats Studio headphones, we considered they could be uncomfortable of your narrow, thin headband it's slight padding. They're actually very comfortable for a number of hours and hours. The Beats only weigh just a bit of over half one pound, so we felt no neck fatigue whatsoever. We tested these employing a teenager along with a 6 and 1/2 hat size as well as adult man utilizing a 7 and 3/4 hat size. The teenager Beats by Dr.Dre Studio had no problems resizing the Beats to his personal liking. He explained he had a snug, yet comfortable fit. On your larger head, we were holding in the similar way comfortable for long periods of damage. They only started to feel too tight or uncomfortable every single ball cap was worn underneath. We're feeling that 7 and 3/4 would possibly work as the largest hat size these Monster Beats Pro headphones could accommodate comfortably.
The faux leather ear pads made our cheeks and ears a perfect slightest bit warm even though many hours of music listening or gaming. We liked the pads' material most given that it failed to irritate beard stubble like fabric pads have a tendency to do. Our only complaint was people wish the hinges across the ear cups were built with a more reinforced construction. Whenever we would hold the headphones off, we had to take some action very slowly and punctiliously. The Beats generally are not headphones that you would wish lift off by sliding one ear cup off therefore the other. Neither the headband nor the hinges will support that sort of repetitive force without some form of damage resulting.
The Beats are self-amplified, and, to provide a benefit, that they need only a small amount volume to prevent a cozy and clear listening amount their sound signature previously.
Noise Cancellation and Isolation
The Beats Studio headphones generally are not primarily noise cancelling headphones able to also play the guitar. They are really advertised as music headphones with noise cancellation among its features. The active noise cancellation did a good job blocking out ambient sounds, along the lines of neighborhood children playing outside or people cooking or doing nothing in adjoining rooms to ours. The Beats removed adequate noise to supply us personal isolation and stop us immersed in doing what we were doing. If friends approached closely to talk with us, we can easily still hear them fairly well. To see best, it Beats studio headphones was extremely quick convenient for be capable to push the mute button located on the right ear cup.
The Beats are circumaural headphones. Therefore, the ear pads should accomodate the wearer's ears for any comfortable seal to hold on to the sounds being played inside in order to provide some level of isolation externally world. This tends to sound practical the theory is that, these kinds of headphones leak sound worse than any set we have got reviewed over the last year. Family and friends around us announced that they can hear everything we had been using. It was not only the occasional high identify that would bleed through inside the height of the intensity. Finally it was the beats, the vocals, as well as the background music ordinarily. These are not headphones you would like to wear if you can't plan to disturb roommates, friends, or even a spouse nearby.
Tech Support
Monster offers tech support because of products by e-mail, phone, and live browser-based chat. We tried these three things methods.
E-mail Support
We e-mailed Monster two identical requests, 7 days apart, inquiring about the Beats Studio headphones' technical specifications. We received an answer to just one, even though not both, associated with requests from Roneil N. at Monster five weeks as we submitted spend less. She apologized on the late reply followed by informed us which a specifications we desired were unable publicly available. As we were a possible customer that has looking a reply coming from the company to be sure of or negate our decision to invest in these headphones centered their specifications, i would have previously managed to move on and bought another brand instead.
Live Chat
Monster's live chat support exists relating to the company's support website plantar too the Ask an Expert banner. We checked the available appointments of live support during a month, all through company's normal business hours. Finally it was unavailable more it was available. We live chatted using a representative on three different occasions. We're always powering Danielle. As stated by the Beats Studio manual, it says in order to change the ear pads when they worn Monster Beats or damaged, and we all consented to ask Danielle how you could acquire a replacement set. She asked, Did yours fall off? We said, No, we just wanted an additional looking for the path. She told us to call the sales department in order to buy an alternative set.
A day later, we chatted with Danielle again and asked her the hypothetical question, To match the contours put an ear pad back on after one of our children had pulled rid of it? She responded that these ear pads don't gain on and suggested that him and i send the headphones in for service. She politely offered to arrange this for many people. We said, No, but say thanks. We shall begin to change it ourselves. We're very confused by your two very opposite recommendations one specific day apart.
Phone Support
We referred to as toll-free tech support number for Monster and requested the technical specifications of the headphones. Like a named Chandra forwarded us a good unnamed male associate within a sales department. He was that has an involved conversation with someone virtually him and he continued to do so while he spoke to us.
When we asked him for technical specifications, the sales person asked in a very clipped words, What do you want related to those? And we don't give those out so people can accomplish what we just want to with him or her. We informed him that a number of Monster's positive product reviews linked on its website list technical specifications to make the Beats Studio headphones. He told us that individuals other links would or really needs to be taken down immediately. Those links remain 30 Beats studio days later and every one of the linked articles remain unchanged.
We took to tell you i always simply wanted to know if we will start with any Ipod mp3 player, iPhone, PC sound card, etc. He said, It has to work. We the tech support number back and spoke to C.J. She said, Kinds to choose from of connectors and things at the box and you will just look to get the right machines and you should be fine. We thanked her and hung up.
Our experiences with Monster's sales department kinds of three divisions of their tech support department for these headphones were disappointing and inconsistent, unsurprisingly.

Through the intensive military campaigns of Pharaoh Thutmose III

Around the Rosetta Stone Spanish (Spain) year 1600 B.C., a semi-autonomous Theban dynasty under the suzerainty of the Hyksos became determined to drive the Shepherd Kings out of the country and Rosetta Stone Portuguese extend its own power. The country was liberated from the Hyksos and unified by Ahmose (ruled 1570-1546 B.C.), the son of the last ruler of the Seventeenth Dynasty. He was honored by subsequent generations as the founder of a new line, the Eighteenth Dynasty, and as the initiator of a glorious chapter in Egyptian history.
During the New Kingdom, Egypt reached the peak of its power, wealth, and territory. The government was reorganized into a military state with an administration centralized in the hands of the pharaoh and his chief minister. Through the intensive military campaigns of Pharaoh Thutmose III (1490-1436 B.C.), Rosetta Stone Latin Palestine, Syria, and the northern Euphrates area in Mesopotamia were brought within the New Kingdom. This territorial expansion involved Egypt in a complicated system of diplomacy, alliances, and treaties. After Thutmose III established the empire, succeeding pharaohs frequently engaged in warfare to defend the state against the pressures of Libyans from the west, Nubians and Ethiopians (Kushites) from the south, Hittites from the east, and Philistines (sea people) from the Aegean-Mediterranean region of the north.
Toward the end of the Twentieth Dynasty, Egyptian power declined at home and abroad. Egypt was once more separated into its natural divisions of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. The pharaoh now ruled from his residence-city in the north, and Memphis remained the hallowed capital where the pharaoh was crowned and his Rosetta Stone Spanish jubilees celebrated. Upper Egypt was governed from Thebes.
During the Twenty-first Dynasty, the pharaohs ruled from Tanis (San al Hajar al Qibliyah), while a virtually autonomous theocracy controlled Thebes. Egyptian control in Nubia and Ethiopia vanished. The pharaohs of the Twenty-second and Twentythird dynasties were mostly Libyans. Those of the brief Twentyfourth Dynasty were Egyptians of the Nile Delta, and those of the Twenty-fifth were Nubians and Ethiopians. This dynasty's ventures into Palestine brought about an Assyrian intervention, resulting in the rejection of the Ethiopians and the reestablishment by the Assyrians of Egyptian rulers at Sais (Sa al Hajar), about eighty kilometers southeast The Rosetta Stone of Alexandria (Al Iskandariyah) on the Rosetta branch of the Nile.

Jump Start Your New Home Based Business With A Home Party

The first thing people think about when they start a new home based business for the very first time, is how to get the word out about their business. The most obvious place to start is with your family and friends. These are the people who love you, trust you, and want to see you succeed so starting with them should be easy. You can say something like, hey Ann, I want you to see what Im doing now and I want you to give me your honest opinion of it. Can you come by my house on.? Ask a simple question and make sure you are being yourself. You do not want to make them feel you are up to something or you want to sell them something when you are inviting them to your home party. You just simply want to invite them over to show them something so do not try to sell them anything when you are inviting them. You can tell them that they may or may not be interested but you want to get their honest opinion on what you are doing. Once they agree to come, change the subject so you do not tell them anything about your products or services. You want to save that for the presentation. If they ask, tell them you just got started and you do not know enough yet. Then you can change the subject and talk about the refreshments you are planning on serving, and maybe ask them to bring something because you are planning on having other guests, or ask them something about one of their family members.Home parties are very popular in the home based business industry, and a great way to advertise and get the word out about your new home business. Many of your guests may like the products or services and place an order with you immediately. This can also lead to future orders. Once they try the products or services, they may decide to continue to order from you. They may also tell other people about your products and services, and give you referrals on a regular basis. In fact, you can later ask them for referrals after they have tried your products or services. Home parties can definitely be the beginning of your word-of-month advertising. If the business opportunity is apart of the presentation at your home party, do not be surprise if a few of your guests want to join you in your home based business and become apart of your team. They may see your business as a way for them to earn more money and work from home as well. You just never know who may be interested in the business so the business opportunity should be apart of the presentation. Working with family and friends could be a wonderful thing. When you have your first home party, let your sponsor give the entire presentation to your guests for you. Your first home party should be a training session for you; therefore, your sponsor should be trained and prepared to teach you how to give an effective presentation. You should be able to sit back, watch and take good notes while your sponsor gives the entire presentation so you can learn how to do it yourself. If your sponsor can not train you, you should find someone who can. You want to learn how to give the presentation yourself so you can teach other people on your team how to do the presentation. If some of your guests want to join your business at your home party, this would be the perfect time to schedule the next home party at their home. Then you can practice the presentation which you just took notes on, and be prepared to give at least half of the next presentation for you new business partner. You can do half of the presentation and let your sponsor do the other half if you are not ready to do the whole presentation. This way you will still teach your new rep how to give the presentation while you are still learning it yourself. Just make sure they are able to sit back, watch and take notes during the presentation so that they can learn just like you did at your first home party.

Home Schooling Advantages Vs. Disadvantages

Home schooling is an option that is becoming more attractive to parents as time goes on. Schools have become increasingly unstable over the past couple of decades. Children roam the hallways unchecked, textbooks are outdated, violence is prevalent, children are bullied mercilessly, and the quality of education on the whole has greatly diminished. What options do parents have to combat this downward spiral? Initially, private school was thought to be the answer. As enrollment in private schools soared many parents failed to see a difference between public and private schools. The problems were still the same. The option of home schooling has been around for a long time; however, until recently it had not been so popular. The idea of home schooling seems like a cure-all to many parents due to the advantages this type of education provides over traditional schools. Children who are home schooled can avoid many of the problems schools have become known for. For one, the environment is less threatening. Children can learn without fearing other students, aggressive or nasty teachers, and be under the constant supervision of parents. In addition, home schooling allows parents to dictate the academic course of their children. Home schooling also allows students to proceed at their own speed. If a child is weak at multiplication and division, a parent can focus lessons on those skills in favor of another skill that the child might grasp rather easily.Home schooling is also advantageous because it keeps children away from other students that may be corruptive forces. Discount Rosetta Stone There are many students in school who do not value learning. This is not any fault of the schools; however, it is still a painful reality. These students can lead to the destruction of a stable learning environment. Home schooling keeps children focused on learning and not on avoiding social pressures. It may sound like the perfect option, but there are many disadvantages of home schooling. First of all, home schooled children are usually less socialized. While schools can sometimes be the breeding ground for poor social behaviors, school is also a place where students learn to interact with others and build social skills. It seems a bit like a catch 22.In addition, another drawback to home schooling could be implementation of an educational plan. Many parents are not qualified as teachers and may not understand what is necessary to ensure a child has access to the proper curriculum. Finally, another disadvantage to home schooling is the necessity for parents to take full responsibility for their childs education. If you choose to home school your child there is no one for you to blame if your child does poorly. The responsibility falls completely on the parent. There are many advantages and disadvantages to home schooling. Before you begin a home schooling plan make sure you have evaluated your ability to properly instruct your child and provide a quality learning experience. If you do not think you can handle it, you might as well send your child to school but become more involved with his or her education.

During this time, it is likely that the representative will point out various features of the resort and its surrounding area so that it is easier for holidaymakers to plan some places to visit, and to have an idea of how far away they are from the hotel. After arriving at the hotel it can usually be found that there is a board or desk of some sort that is set up to explain the best trips and excursions to undertake for the best possible enjoyment of the holiday. There will often be plenty of different types of trips, such as water parks and theme parks, or walks to castles and historic sights. There are usually places for the evening pointed out too, including restaurants and bars that may also have entertainment like live music. Another option is to stay in the hotel for the evening, as there is plenty of entertainment within the grounds. Governments getting more fee-happy

Here's a sample of fees on cars:New York state now requires people to buy new plates when they register a car, and the cost of plates has risen from $15 to $25. Basic license and registration fees have increased 25%, with the cost of a basic driver's license going from $50 to $62.50.New Hampshire has doubled the registration fee for light cars and trucks, and raised registration fees by $30 for all other vehicles.Florida has raised new car-registration fees from $100 to $225 and boosted vehicle license fees and various other fees by 35%.Georgia has added a $10 motor vehicle registration fee and increased fines for people caught driving faster than 85 mph.Illinois has raised title fees from $65 to $105, boosted driver's license fees and increased the vehicle transfer fee from $15 to $30.How to cope: Avoiding these fees is tough, but you can avoid adding to your pain by making sure you renew your registration and license on time. Renewing late can significantly add to your costs. If your state bases registration fees in part on your vehicle's value, that could be a reason to hang on to your current car longer and consider buying used, rather than new, the next time around.Fees on tourists A typical hotel or car rental bill will be larded with "tourism" taxes and fees that pay for amenities you may never enjoy, such as a stadium or convention center or future improvements to the city's infrastructure.Again, the difference between taxes and fees is blurred, as the "taxes" target a defined group receiving a benefit (tourists buying a hotel room or renting a car), while the "fees" often pay for things that don't benefit the Rosetta Stone Hindi person paying.Rent a car in Seattle, for example, and, in addition to the state car rental tax of 5.9%, you'll pay a 1% sports facility tax, a 60-cent fee to help pay for the Seattle Mariners' stadium and a 24-cent regional-transit tax.Book a hotel room in New York City, meanwhile, and you'll pay an 8.9% state room tax, a 5.9% "room occupancy" tax, a $2 city tax and a $1.50 "fee tax" to help pay for the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. And governments continue to try to squeeze more from visitors. Colorado, Maine, Nevada and New York have raised rental car taxes, while Hawaii and Nevada recently raised hotel taxes. In addition:Hawaii has raised rental car surcharges and diverts some of the money into the state's general fund.Nevada has raised car rental fees in a move expected to generate $13 million annually. How to cope: Never book a car or hotel room based solely on the per-day rate. With rental cars, especially, the taxes and fees can double the cost. Make sure you're seeing all the added fees and taxes before you commit. Also, consider traveling to places that don't gouge tourists.

What to supervise There are many things to supervise

Representing government are members of School Boards or Teaching Service Commission, Local Authorities, Inspectors – all of which are under Ministry of Education. The goals are to promote orderliness, ensure that duties are executed appropriately, ensure that standard is maintained and correct mistakes. Supervision is also for the assessment of teachers for the performance of their professional duties, aim at helping teachers learn what their problems are and to seek the best methods of solving them, whether individual or group problems (Nwaogu, 1980). Therefore, teachers should be directed to:improve teaching methods and techniques, utilize newly discovered principle of group dynamics, provide for individual differences, locate and utilize community resources, evaluate their teaching competence, bring to awareness the effectiveness of classroom management, discover special abilities and qualities possessed by teachers, improve the incompetence's of teachers,evaluate/appraise the performance of the teachers and the number of teachers recruited to teach, and determine teacher's promotion and bring into conclusion teacher's transfer from school, his retention or his dismissal from the job.Types of Inspection Formal – are inspections that involve official notification from the inspectorate division to the institutions concern. It may be skeletal/casual supervision, spontaneous/comprehensive or full supervision.Informal – requires no official notification or information, it is usually a child of necessity/circumstance incidence and sheer coincidence/incidental inspection or verification of information. What to supervise There are many things to supervise. These include the school programme and resources, assessment of Principal, the Teachers, the non-academic staff, the students, the school plants (facilities and equipment), the school account, the school project, etc.?????School records Schools records are highly necessary written information kept about the school activities and events, some are legally required while some are not but essential for smooth and effective school administration. This information must be made available when needed by designated authority, for example the inspectors of schools. Reasons for Rosetta Stone English keeping these records include evaluation, orderliness, planning, administrative convenience, disciplining, grouping, continuity, revision, legal defense, etc. These records should be kept up to date if an effective administration is to be achieved, maintained and sustained. Record keeping should be a primary priority regarded as a necessity by school (Nwaogu, 1980). When this is done the school authority, staff and students will have records to make reference to.Oberleitner and Abowd (2007) rate keeping of records highly and suggest that parents should keep records of their wards. They were of opinion that keeping good records of their child's behaviors, treatments, therapies, and educational experiences can help them and service providers make more effective services available. Conditions for effective record keeping??????The following conditions are attached to school records:Precise – records should be precise, direct and unambiguous.Honest – records should be honestly filled, reflecting the true picture of things, incidence and situation of things.Detail – records should be detailed, not missing vital points and information.Complete – records should give complete information, not cut off necessary information or clue to the information or investigation.Regular – information should flow without unnecessary break, sequence/regularly recorded without missing points. Available – records should be made available to appropriate quarters for inspection, research, evaluation and classification without secrecy, staff and stake holders (education inspectors, parents and students) or visitors should have access to the records relevant to their needs or information searching for. Legal implication of school records??????It is rather unfortunate that most school administrators lack the knowledge of "legal liability" as related to teaching. Legal liability is a legal responsibility for causing damage. A liability is an obligation expected of the school administrator/teacher and failure to meet up to the expectation put the person in question to a disadvantage. As in many professions the risks in teaching are many and most of them have legal implication as regards teachers' responsibilities to learners. There are many things head of schools, class/subject teachers do that are not lawful and can result in legal tussle/crisis (Smissen, 1977).

Home Education - Whats the problem?

Home education will never be well known about because a lot of people refuse to talk about it, mainly because they think it is wrong.Facing the fact, nothing is wrong with teaching your children at home. If anything, it's better for them, but this does all depend on the way that YOU teach them and how THEY are brought up. Some people send their children to a school, my parents chose not to. From the day that you decide to home education, it will never be a bad thing to do.I live in Hampshire, so far out of the area that I live in the number of people home educating has gone up by 250. That's 900 families home educating through all of Hampshire, but it's not just Hampshire. The whole of Scotland and Ireland do the same thing.Home education has been given a very bad name. The Goverment have tried to stop it, will they be able to? No. There are simply too many families that do this, they will not be able to stop them. If however, they 'managed' to get every parent who home educates to send their children to school, surely there would be no room? Have you heard home many children are in just one school, sometimes the number mounts up to 2,000.Some people will always bad name it, and this isn't fair. If we all went around saying "That school can't teach" or "That school is so bad no children should be allowed near it". What are we doing? We're giving schools bad names. Some schools don't need to be given bad names, they have them already. This isn't our fault, if you can't run a school or control the students - don't do it.The only reason teachers give home education parents bad names is because Rosetta Stone Spanish Spain they are probably jealous that they have to spend all day in a huge building with students who are rude. I just think that the schools are jealous of the people who home educate because they are missing people attending their school. If you send your child to a school, there is always a chance that they'll get bullied for something. If you teach your child at home, they will still get bullied. Mainly because the school kids are jealous of the ones who aren't at a school, or they are just not very nice."You won't get anywhere in life, you have no GCSEs or qualifications". So what? Your point is?I was home educated for 16 years. Through those 16 years I learnt how to read, write, cook, play, draw, develop skills I though I never had but most of all, have fun. Do children really have fun at school? Everyone is different, I'm not judging.I just don't understand why people think GCSEs are something we NEED. Do you really think Thomas Edison needed to have GCSEs to invent the light bulb? Come off it. GCSEs are a piece of paper! If GCSEs are that 'important', why are there no jobs for people to use there GCSEs? They study to pass their exams and when they pass they are happy, but what do these students get out of having all that stress to gain a piece of paper with the letter A/D/B/C on it?I had no GCSEs, I refused to take any GCSEs but I still managed to pass my English exam which I took at my college, which is a form of a qualification but it's not graded A - whatever.Just because we don't go to a school, does not mean we are thick.Agatha Christie, Thomas Edison, Sir Noel Coward, Beatrix Potter, Julie Andrews, Elizabeth II, William Blake, Patrick Moore, andLouis Armstrong. Most of you should have heard of them. Home education is not at all a bad thing. School is not a bad thing, UNLESS you've had a bad experience or you make trouble for yourself. I however, think that home education is rated at a very low level and those to hear about it, stick their noses up and don't want to hear anything else about it.Don't just a book by it's cover. Just because we're at home, doesn't mean we're not learning. Really, did I need a GCSE to write this?

Speak plainly on cell phones

A new law known as the Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights requires card issuers to deal more fairly with customers. The requirements include telling customers, in plain English, what the terms of the card contract mean. The law is well-warranted in its own right, but it also is inspiring questions about other areas in which consumers are presented with bewildering terms and conditions and indecipherable service bills. Foremost in that category is cell phone service, bills for which require a digital . Inspired by the credit card law, the Seniors Coalition commissioned a survey on consumers' comprehension of cell phone service billing and contracts. It's a huge, multibillion-dollar issue because 80 percent of American adults Rosetta Stone now use cell phones. The study found that 40 percent of consumers don't know the amount of the penalty they would pay for switching carriers prior to the expiration of a contract. More than half said that they use fewer minutes than they pay for every month, but many of those consumers noted that they could not find a plan with a lower amount of time that suited their overall needs. The study concluded that Americans waste millions of dollars on cell phone service that they never actually use. Many don't switch to less expensive plans because they incorrectly believe that the penalty for doing so would outweigh the savings. And untold numbers don't understand their options because of the gibberish that providers use to describe the plans, benefits and penalties. Congress should use the experience of the credit card reforms to require plain-language disclosures to consumers by all providers of goods and services, from cell phones through other telecommunications services.

Voting information in Spanish

ACCESO is the Spanish Word for "ACCESS." It is also the name given to the Spanish language advisory committee for the Clerk & Recorder's office in Denver. It is the mission of ACCESO to meet the federal mandate of the Voting Rights Act that requires counties to provide bilingual education materials and information when five percent of the population speaks another language and has limited English skills. As part of meeting that objective, a community forum will be held Monday, Sept. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Denver's Northeast Academy Charter School, 4895 Peoria St. English and Spanish speaking residents from throughout the city are encouraged to attend. Residents will be able to register to vote as well as learn about where and how to vote. Other election information will be available in both languages and all questions or concerns will be addressed. Childcare will be provided. For more information call 720-856-4873. Also bilingual poll workers are being sought to work election day Nov. 2. Participants are paid for both training and for a full election day shift. Applicants should be able to speak English and Spanish and be a registered voter. There are also gaps. Singapore has a very poorly organized community or domicillary nursing service. It used to have a visiting community nursing service in the past (I have seen pictures of nurses wearing white uniforms and veils getting into sampans Rosetta Stone Portuguese to go across a river or to an island). However, home visiting was stopped and people are now required to attend either the clinic or the hospital. This, as one can image, can be difficult even on a small island. While there is excellent public transport in Singapore (and it is cheap), if one is disabled or sick, it is difficult to use this for frequent access. Additionally, the taxi service can be quite expensive if one is taking it every day. At this stage there are no programmes such as 'hospital in the home' for patients who are discharged early. There are some for profit and not-for-profit organizations that provide home care, but these are means tested and are limited in their availability. In the polyclinics, however, there is an excellent self-management model of chronic disease management which is nurse-led. Most of the government polyclinics have been using this model for some time, where an experienced registered nurse works as a case manager for a person with chronic disease/s. Once the patient is diagnosed and stablised, they are referred to the nurse who works as a case manager to provide the education and lifestyle management needed. There is a co-payment for this service. Very different from Australia, is the fact that prescribed medications are given out at the polyclinic. Pharmacies (or drug stores) do not dispense any drugs other than 'over-the-counter' or Schedule 3 drugs. All prescription drugs are provided at the same time as the visit to the doctor. This has good aspects (you don't have to find a pharmacy to dispense the drug somewhere else) and bad points (you can only get a couple of months at a time, which means you have to go back more frequently, and then you have to store them in a fridge). It is cheaper than Australia where we would pay through our subsidized pharmacy system about $35 per medication and an out of pocket payment of about $30 for the GP (much more for a specialist or for radiography). Here in Singapore the doctor visit and medication cost me $5. It does not prevent a person "doctor shopping" though as there is no standard electronic health record in Singapore.

Rebecca worked hard for four years at home while we were honored with calling her our student and our daughter." The HomeSchool graduation announcement is simple and clearly states that it is a home school graduation.Having a ceremony could be an important part of homeschool graduation for both the parents and the graduate. If this is the case, parents can choose to have a small ceremony with just family and close friends at home or they can ask around the neighborhood to find out if there are any other home school graduates. If there are, a larger ceremony can be coordinated for all graduates to celebrate together. In either case, printed HomeSchool graduation invitations should be sent. These can also be created with very personal touches.

Names Removed From Taxi Driver Identity Cards Due To Cultural Fears

From the end of the month, cab drivers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast will be required to display ID cards in their taxis. Photo: Michelle Smith Photo IDs set to be introduced in Brisbane taxis will no longer include drivers' names, due to a fear passengers may verbally abuse cabbies over their foreign names. From November 30, cab drivers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast will be required to display authorised Queensland taxi driver display cards in their cabs. The cards will include a photo and driver identification number, but not a name. Advertisement: Story continues below The government printed ID cards with full names for the Toowoomba roll-out earlier this year, but reissued new licences without names due to privacy and cultural concerns. brisbane times.au understands during the Toowoomba roll-out in June, some drivers with names such as Muhammad were the target of racial abuse and harassment from customers. "The taxi council made representations on behalf of their members to remove drivers' names from the Authorised Queensland Taxi Driver Display Card," a statement from Transport Minister Annastacia Palaszczuk read. "This decision was made for privacy and cultural reasons. This is consistent with other states." The cultural issue of what name was used on the card was also a stumbling block for the program, with drivers unhappy their preferred common Rosetta Stone name, or anglicised name, was not displayed. Taxi Council of Queensland chief executive Blair Davies, who flagged privacy concerns with the identification program with last year, said there had been an issue with what names were being transferred across from government records to the licences. "The average person born in Australia has a first name and surname but depending on where you come from sometimes the first name is your family name, so it can get complicated, particularly in some cultures," he said. "So we were seeing some quite strange results coming out on these cards. "They were typically using the first name and that can produce some quite inconsistent results. "But for some drivers their whole names were to be printed on the IDs." Mr Davies said the IDs would provide an extra level of reassurance for passengers who would be able to match a driver with their photo, as well as use the identification number to report any issues. But he indicated the current security system for cab drivers was better than those used in others states, with all Queensland drivers being required to enter a pin on dispatch to log on for their shift. Mr Davies said Queensland was the only state using this system. The licence introduction is part of a raft of reforms introduced under the Queensland Taxi Strategic Plan, 2010-2015. Ms Palaszczuk said the plan's implementation was progressing well, with the introduction of national training standards for taxi drivers improving customer service and passenger safety. "These standards raised the bar for taxi drivers across driving skills, geographical knowledge, customer service and safety issues," she said.
